Most parents of fussy-eating footballers feel stuck between two problems

Β

Getting them to eat anything β€” and making sure what they eat actually fuels performance.

Β

This is exactly what Performance Fuel for Picky Eaters fixes.

Β

You've probably already tried the things that don't work

  • ❌ "Just one more bite" β€” adds pressure and often makes picky eating worse
  • ❌ Bribing with dessert β€” turns food into a reward, not fuel
  • ❌ Making a separate "safe" meal every time β€” understandable, but it means no exposure to anything new

None of this makes you a bad parent. It means you've been doing what any exhausted parent does at 6pm before training. There's a different way β€” and it's slower, but it actually works.Β

Why join the waitlist?

Β Over 12 weeks, you and your child will:

  • Build a fuelling plan around foods they'll actually eat
  • Know if they're really eating enough for training and matchday
  • Expand accepted foods gradually β€” without fights or pressure
  • Get support tailored to your child's specific eating pattern, not generic advice
  • Have a matchday routine that works, even on the road or eating out

By the end, you'll have:

βœ… A personalised fuelling structure built around your child's real diet
βœ… A calm, repeatable approach to introducing new foods
βœ… A matchday plan you're confident in

Β

Progress doesn't look how you'd expect

Β

With a fussy eater, "he still won't eat it" doesn't mean nothing's working. Real progress usually looks like:

  1. Tolerating a new food near their plate, without pushing it away
  2. Touching, smelling, or licking it
  3. A tiny taste β€” even if they spit it out
  4. Eating a small amount without a fuss

Each of these is a genuine win β€” even if it doesn't look like one from the outside.

The problem isn't your parenting

Β

Most parents managing a fussy eater are already doing everything right day-to-day.

What's missing isn't effort β€” it's a plan built for football, and support from someone who's lived it.

Β I'm not just a sports nutritionist. I'm a parent who's been exactly where you are.

Β

My own son was an extremely fussy eater. If he could've, he'd have eaten chicken nuggets and nothing else. All mealtimes were stressful. I felt embarrassed at times telling families and friends that we would need different food from what was served. Restaurants meant researching the menu in advance. Even a family holiday to the US turned into a daily puzzle of what he'd actually eat, McDonald's included, and we still had to manage his extremely sensitive taste and smell.

What worked wasn't forcing anything. It was grazing plates, always including a carb, a protein, a veggie, and a fruit, built around foods I already knew he'd touch. Sticking to the ones that would clearly work, and slowly building from there.Β We also chose a school that had a veggie garden where he was exposed to foods and growing them.Β

He's come an incredibly long way, eating a much wider range of foods than I ever thought possible. It's still something I stay on top of, not something that fixed itself overnight. That ongoing process is exactly what shaped this program.

That journey is exactly what shaped this program β€” not just the science of sports nutrition, but knowing firsthand what 6 pm on a school night actually feels like when your kid won't eat.

That's exactly why I created Performance Fuel for Picky Eaters

Who this is for

Parents of young footballers who:

  • Have a genuinely fussy or selective eater
  • Want their child fuelled properly for training and games
  • Are tired of guessing whether "enough" is actually enough

Note: this program supports picky/selective eating in the context of sports performance. If your child has a diagnosed feeding disorder or severe medical restriction, this program can point you toward the right specialist support instead.

Your child already loves the game
